Just one more time

 

I am not high on vaccines or vaccine mandates. 

Remember when we were told that the vaccine was effective, and it would stop the pandemic? 

Remember when we were told that once you got the vaccine, you would be safe from COVID?

Remember when they told us later that you could still get the virus, and maybe even still pass it on? 

Remember when they said vaccine mandates were not American? 

Remember when they said this whole pandemic started from a "wet market" in China, and that it was ludicrous to think that it came from a virology lab in Wuhan? 

Remember when you said, "Trust the science."? 

Remember when you believe that mutilating your normal body organs was not medicine? 

Remember when you used to believe that anyone who did that for money is not really a doctor? 

Remember when you believed that the human immune system was superior to anything man can or ever could make? 

Remember when you believed that being healthy was a good way to fight off disease in general?

Remember when you believed there would be a price that would be paid eventually for all of the American neglect of health through lack of exercise, fast food, and junk food? 

Remember when you used to distrust Big Pharma? 

Remember when you thought experts were just people with their own incentives? 

Remember when being skeptical was a good thing? 

Remember when you used to believe that the horrors of the 20th century were committed by people with evil ideologies that should never be given quarter anywhere? 

Remember when you used to believe that these atrocities could happen again, and that type of evil is always present in the heart of man--including your heart? 

Remember when you use to say, "Well, I might disagree with your choice, but I respect your freedom."?

Remember when you use to ask your grandmother what she thought about life, before you assumed she agreed with you and believed that other people were willfully trying to kill her by breathing? 

Remember when you used to think politicians were not really that noble, honest, or virtuous, and that government distrust was not a bad thing to have? 

Or was that only until you, yourself, gained the levers of power? 

But now...

Now they say the vaccine will prevent you from you going into the hospital and dying, just like they did when they said it would stop the pandemic, or you would be safe from it, and not get it, and not pass it to others. That's what the scientists and the experts say.

But now...if you just believe us...just one more time.

Just this one time...and it will all go away. 

It just might...just not COVID though...
